Seattle Spatial Transcriptomic Research in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Evaluation (STRIDE)
This study collects blood, tissue, and clinical information from children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and children with brain-gut interaction disorders over a long period of time. Researchers will use this information to better understand how gut inflammation develops and to improve treatment options for children with these conditions.
Key Objective: This research may help doctors better understand the causes of inflammatory bowel disease and develop more effective treatments for children in the future.
Who to Consider: Children diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease or disorders of brain-gut interactions who are willing to provide samples and participate in long-term follow-up should consider enrolling.
