Medical Disclaimer

ClinicalMetric is a clinical trial intelligence platform. The information provided on this site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Please read this disclaimer carefully.

Medical Emergency

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately — in Greece: 112, in the United States: 911. Do not use this website to seek urgent medical guidance.

1. Not Medical Advice

The content on ClinicalMetric — including clinical trial summaries, condition pages, sponsor pages, editorial articles, Insights pieces, AI-generated briefings, and all other materials — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, a medical diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a clinical opinion.

Nothing on this site should be interpreted as recommending or endorsing any specific clinical trial, treatment, drug, device, or medical procedure for your individual situation. Every individual's medical circumstances are unique, and what is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.

Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional — your physician, specialist, oncologist, or other appropriate clinician — before making any decision about your health, including whether to explore, inquire about, or enroll in a clinical trial.

2. Clinical Trial Participation

Participation in a clinical trial is a significant personal medical decision with potential benefits and risks that vary by study design, phase, interventional agent, and your individual health status. ClinicalMetric does not assess your individual suitability for any clinical trial, does not facilitate enrollment, and does not communicate with trial sponsors or research sites on your behalf.

To inquire about or enroll in a clinical trial, you must contact the trial's principal investigator or research coordinator directly — contact details are available on the individual trial's ClinicalTrials.gov listing. Your treating physician can help you identify appropriate trials, obtain referrals, assess eligibility criteria against your medical history, and guide you through the informed consent process.

Never enroll in, withdraw from, or modify your participation in a clinical trial without the full knowledge and guidance of your healthcare team. Trial withdrawal may affect your ongoing treatment and must be managed in coordination with the trial site.

3. Data Accuracy and Limitations

Clinical trial data displayed on ClinicalMetric is sourced from the ClinicalTrials.gov API (National Library of Medicine, NIH) and is cached and refreshed daily. Despite our best efforts, trial information may be incomplete, delayed, or out of date at the time you view it. Trial status (Recruiting, Completed, Terminated, etc.), eligibility criteria, enrollment capacity, and site contact details are subject to change without notice.

ClinicalMetric makes no representation that all trials listed on ClinicalTrials.gov are captured in our system. We display up to 10,000 trials per daily refresh cycle of the recruiting trial population. Additional trials — including completed, terminated, or less-active studies — may not be represented.

Eligibility criteria presented on ClinicalMetric are reproduced from the official registry and have not been medically interpreted, simplified, or verified for accuracy. Detailed inclusion and exclusion criteria may differ from the truncated text shown, and must be reviewed in full on ClinicalTrials.gov and confirmed with the trial site before any enrollment decision.

Always verify current trial details directly on ClinicalTrials.gov before taking any action.

4. AI-Generated Summaries

ClinicalMetric offers on-demand AI-generated summaries of clinical trial protocols, produced by the Claude AI model (Anthropic). These summaries are generated algorithmically from official registry data and are intended as a rapid plain-language orientation only — not as a substitute for reading the full protocol, informed consent document, or speaking with a qualified investigator.

AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or oversimplifications. They have not been reviewed or approved by a physician, pharmacist, clinical researcher, or regulatory authority. They do not represent the views of the trial sponsor, investigator, or any healthcare institution. Do not make medical decisions based on AI summaries.

5. Editorial Content and Insights Articles

ClinicalMetric publishes editorial articles ("Insights") covering clinical research trends, specific therapeutic areas, drug development programs, and patient guidance topics. These articles are written by ClinicalMetric's research team and reviewed against primary sources including peer-reviewed literature, FDA/EMA documentation, NIH releases, and ClinicalTrials.gov registry data.

Editorial articles reflect the information available at the time of writing or most recent update. The clinical landscape changes rapidly — new trial results, regulatory decisions, protocol amendments, and scientific consensus evolve continuously. ClinicalMetric Insights articles do not guarantee that the information they contain is current, complete, or applicable to any individual patient's situation.

Insights articles are educational in nature and do not constitute a recommendation for or against any treatment, drug, or clinical trial. References to specific products, drugs, or procedures are for educational context only and do not constitute endorsement.

6. No Affiliation with Clinical Trial Sponsors

ClinicalMetric is an independent information platform. We have no commercial, financial, or organizational relationship with any clinical trial sponsor, pharmaceutical company, contract research organization (CRO), academic medical center, hospital, government health agency, or trial site listed on this platform.

We do not receive payments from sponsors for the listing, promotion, or ranking of specific clinical trials. Trial listings are derived from the ClinicalTrials.gov public registry and are not curated or influenced by any commercial relationship. Affiliate links — where present and clearly marked — are referral arrangements with third-party services (not trial sponsors) and do not affect which trials are shown or how they are ordered.

ClinicalMetric is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Library of Medicine (NLM), ClinicalTrials.gov, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other regulatory body.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClinicalMetric Intelligence Systems, its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, or damages of any nature arising from:

  • Reliance on any content on this platform for any medical or health decision
  • Decisions to enroll in or withdraw from any clinical trial
  • Inaccuracies, delays, or omissions in clinical trial data
  • Medical outcomes resulting from or associated with clinical trial participation
  • Actions or omissions of clinical trial sponsors, investigators, or research sites
  • Use or misuse of AI-generated summaries

Use of ClinicalMetric is at your own risk. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
