Mission

ClinicalMetric is an independent clinical trial intelligence platform designed to make the world's clinical research data accessible and understandable. We aggregate publicly available trial data from ClinicalTrials.gov and apply a structured editorial layer to generate plain-language summaries — helping patients, caregivers, and researchers cut through complex medical jargon and find studies relevant to them.

Who We Serve

ClinicalMetric is built for three audiences: patients and caregivers researching treatment options and trial participation; healthcare professionals looking for a quick reference to active studies in a given condition area; and researchers and journalists tracking the clinical development landscape across therapeutic areas.

Data Sources

All clinical trial data on ClinicalMetric originates from ClinicalTrials.gov, the official registry and results database maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We do not modify the underlying trial data — we only add context, summaries, and structured discoverability.

Our Insights articles are written using information from peer-reviewed medical literature, official FDA and EMA communications, NIH press releases, and publicly disclosed Phase 2/3 trial results. All sources are publicly available and verifiable.

Editorial Standards

Every Insights article on ClinicalMetric is reviewed for factual accuracy against primary sources before publication. We cite specific trial phases, enrollment numbers, and regulatory status where known. When data is preliminary or uncertain, we state this explicitly.

Articles are updated when significant new data emerges — such as Phase 3 readouts, FDA approvals, or trial discontinuations. The publication and modification dates shown on each article reflect the most recent review.

Technical Infrastructure

Our infrastructure runs on a serverless edge architecture with multi-layer caching. Trial data is fetched in real time from the ClinicalTrials.gov API v2 and enriched on-demand. This ensures data freshness while minimizing load on the official government source.
